yet another boring day in the office. so tired. so hungry. i feel like a need a bar of chocolate. anyway... something interesting happened today, quite shocking and surprising really. i was reading my base routine orders and guess what i saw?

NSFs wanted for OVERSEAS DETACHMENT.

i almost pinched myself cause i thought i was dreaming. this is too good to be true. but it was really there. two choices - either a 1 year stint in the USA or a 6 month one in Brunei. i mean WOW! i almost wanted to run to offer myself for it. haha... what would you do if you faced a choice like this?
to leave your friends, family and loved ones behind for a long period of time. for the sake of a brighter future. would you do it?
