somebody save me...i had a really rough day/night yesterday. horrible experience. it all started like another normal day (well, not really normal, i had to come in early for training reasons), it continued with a barrage of scolding and reprimand and all the sort of bullshit that builds up in tight-assed officers who talk as if their genitals are being squeezed (pardon my literal translation of that dialect phrase). anyway, i forgot to mention that i never had lunch nor anything to eat the whole afternoon. well, carried away or engrossed in my work (whichever reason suits your fancy) i soon found myself starting on my shift duties. sitting at my computer terminal, i suddenly felt dizzy and had a onset of head pains. maybe i just need some water, it'll go away. after a cup of warm water, i continued with my work. holy shit. my head was throbbing from the pain and i had to close my eyes every few minutes to ease the sensation. when i finished kinda what i could and i realised that there was just no way i could carry on... i reported sick.
it was kinda late in the evening that i finally decided (after some persuasion from my senior and officer) to pay the medical center a visit. i got a ride from my senior and arrived at the medical center without a hitch. was feeling slightly better then, maybe the fresh air did some good. when i stepped through the door, i found the medics just sitting around watching tv (lucky bastards). they did the preliminary stuff like making me fill up forms, taking my temp and blood pressure... boring stuff which does no good when YOUR HEAD FEELS LIKE EXPLODING!
anyway, after the irritatingly inefficient idiots took their sweet time to register me, i was lead to the room where the MO was suppose to be waiting. but guess what? exactly like their lazy medics, the lazy MO was no where to be found in the room! the medics had to go to his room and drag his lazy ass out to the examining room. oh, by the way, he came out in his sleeping attire. but whatever... i managed to get my medicine from him and that all i really care about.
service rating - 2/10 (if there was the GEMS form there, he would fail in an instant)
whatever. i had a long night and it really pains me to have to recall all the details that just make my blood boil. but i do want to sincerely thank all my shift members for their care and support that night. you all are the best in the force.
anyone else got a problem?
it's the weekends. time to relax and enjoy!
