pinch me... i think i'm in heaven.

presenting...

the world's first... SUPER-DUPER GUNDAM ARCADE GAME!

when i first laid my eyes on the picture of it... i was left with my mouth gaping and all manner of wonderfully pleasant thoughts crossing through my mind.

it's a miracle. it's beautiful... it's....

ONLY IN JAPAN! =( bummer.

anyway... it features this "new" technology called the panoramic optical display... meaning it's way way cooler than any of the current dumb-assed arcade games presently available. plus it's designed to play a maximum of 4 vs 4. so you can team up for some super realistic team action... just like the anime!
it's designed in such a way that mimics you sitting in the cockpit of a real gundam... with the two throttle sticks by the sides! is that shit cool or what?

i would never be able to prove how fantastic this game really is without showing you a picture. so here it is... the inside view of the game station. it's like being in a simulator but at a normal arcade. oh well... maybe not just any arcade... only a high-end japanese one. =( what a downer.

but look at the detail... the rendering of the skins of the models in the game. the incredible 180 degree view of the landscape! super wide angle baby!

damn man...

that game is HOT.

i mean... look at it...

it's like a dream come true. not just for me (c'mon, i ain't THAT selfish) but for all the thousands of gundam fanatics out there. your time has come. time to save up... train up... and experience first-hand the thrill of climbing into your Zeta Gundam or Zaku Warrior mobile suit and wreak havoc.

i'll admit that i for one am, and have never really been, an arcade kinda guy. but witnessing this release of such a marvelous game, i think i might be self-pressured to think otherwise.

hmmm... now if only every arcade had it's own kawaii alliance uniformed-dressed girl to 'assist' you in your missions.

i think i'd probably live in the arcade.

wouldn't you?

damn i love gundam. thanks to namco for coming up with this extra-ordinary work of engineering and ingenuity. now if only they came up with the version of gundam seed and destiny. drools. someday.

me.わたし.
