i always try my very best to be a good citizen. xiao gong ming during the primary school days... followed by the equally useless civics and moral education in secondary school... sometimes i wonder why the ministry even bothers to add these subjects when they know it has little or no effect on the students. i mean, if the program were so damn effective, explain why we have so many hooligans and other teenage-related problems in society. idiots.>

anyway, back to the story. look at the picture below.

looks like just another HDB block in some nice quiet neighbourhood, yes? well, it is. it's the block opposite mine. i snapped a photo of it from my bedroom window. <no... i am not trying to peep into the sexy girl's room on the same floor^^...perverts.>

just so you know, i did so for good reason.

JUST LOOK CLOSER!

the guy has freaking plants (or other weird grossly overgrown vegetation) spewing forth from his damn windows. the damn things are so freaking BIG i had to snap a shot. to show you the true size of the newly dubbed 'giant plants of my neighbour', compare the air-con fan to the size of the freaking plant.

i can't imagine walking underneath the damn thing. worst still if it rains. what if it just breaks and lands on your head (or any other body part).

so i was just wondering if there's a rule or law or something that HDB can do to ensure the safety of the residents and the community at large.

inconsiderate owners of oversized plants beware. i am watching you.

P.S. i wonder what if it (the plant) was to bear fruit. imagine the shock and/or horror of being hit by a cucumber or tomato when it gets ripe and drops from outside the window. haha. rofl.
